A Case of Large Submaxillary Salivary Stone

Abstract
|

|
We reported here a case of large submaxillary lithiasis that measured 2.Ocm and 1.8cm in long and short diameters and weighed 2.69.
At first diagnosed as Ludwig´s angina, and incision was done at left mouth floor then we found out a whitish hard mass at the base of incised wound after sucking up hemopurulent discharge.
This submaxillary intrasalivary stone was removed with forceps without difficulty.
